One Spirit + One Vision Building Campaign

 

We give praise and thanksgiving to all the families who have pledged to our campaign, and for their share in helping us to expand the ministries of Christ, preserve and promote our Faith, history, and heritage, feed and nurture the People of God spiritually, and ensure that our children and grandchildren will be raised Greek Orthodox Christian.

 

Approved by our Parish Assembly, and blessed both by Metropolitan Gerasimos and Archbishop Demetrios, our new building has classrooms from pre-kindergarten to 8th grade for our three Cathedral Schools: 1) Sunday School; 2) Greek School; and 3) our Parochial School, Holy Trinity Academy, the only Greek Orthodox Christian Parochial School in Arizona. In addition to having administration offices for our priests and Cathedral staff, we have offices for each school, a library, conference room, language lab, and cafeteria.

 

This beautiful building will help us to serve our people and our many--and growing--ministries, programs, and events in a much more efficient, productive, and efficacious manner. Our new building is capped off with a white dome adorned with a Cross, thereby tying it in aesthetically and spiritually with the two Crosses that adorn our two churches. These three Crosses are a fitting reminder of the Holy Trinity and that as Orthodox Christians we look to the message and power of the Precious and Life-giving Cross.

 

We thank you for your prayers and support, and we ask you to continue to pray for us and support us. We want everyone to participate, for everyone will benefit. We want our new building to really be a community building that was built with the fair share contributions of everyone—each according to his or her means. Everyone can contribute something, and even a little in the Lord’s Hands is much. Sharing all of our resources together, we leverage our “talents” with the unlimited power of the Holy Spirit. Let’s not bury our “talents.” Let’s invest them for the honor of those who sacrificed before us, for those who will benefit today, and for the benefit of those generations yet to come who will remember and honor us for the sacrifices we made for them and the glory of God.

 

If you have not yet made your fair share pledge to our One Spirit One Vision campaign, please do so now. For your convenience, you may do so by completing the Letter of Intent in the OS+OV section of this website and mailing it to the Church office. For those of you who have already pledged, you are the best witnesses to those who have not. Ask your family and friends to share our vision and become part of our new reality.
